About me.
Hi guys, to introduce myself I am an award winning Makeup Artist, Beauty Expert, Nail Artist and Cosmetic Development Consultant based in Hertfordshire.
A little about my background:
I gained a degree in psychology with a focus on beauty and media industry. Following this my true ambition was fulfilled when I trained as makeup artist at the highest level at the London College of fashion and the London School of Beauty and Make Up. It was easy to see the effect that a small touch of make up could have on the way women feel about themselves- this acted as a huge sway in my career path.
With over 14 years of makeup artistry experience behind me I am proud and privileged to focus much of my work and attention on make up for ‘real women’. My years of working in all areas of make up industry from film and TV, through to editorial shoots, make up lessons and weddings have helped me to gain a wealth of product knowledge and understanding of working with different people, skin types and truly bringing the best out in each and every person that I work with.
I adore what I do and my hope is that my passion for my work comes across to everyone that I meet. There is nothing I love more than seeing the confidence that I am able to help women to realise through their makeup.
Another thing I love to do is beauty writing. You many have seen me cropping up on the pages of different magazines as the beauty press call on me for some expert advice and tips on all things make up.
I also works with leading UK retailers as a Cosmetic Brand Development Consultant. Supermarket giant Sainsburys turned myself and my business partner to gain insight of our unprecedented and insider beauty knowledge. With this, Sainsburys launched their first own brand cosmetic range, Boutique at Sainsburys. Myself and the Boutique team were awarded “Best Make Up and Nail Product” for their eyeshadow quad at the Beauty Awards.
